Voyage...
John Bound 2026 Charter
We look forward to welcoming you aboard Rona II for a weekend of sailing.
Rona II is our Oyster 68 and can sleep up to 21 people including our volunteer afterguard. There will be up to 6 volunteers aboard to guide and support you through the weekend.
You begin in voyage at Universal Marina on the River Hamble and then have the opportunity to sail along the South Coast and explore the Jurassic Coastline. If weather conditions are right then you may cross the English Channel to explore the Channel Islands and beyond.
The South Coast is one of the most famous sailing areas in the world including Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth Harbour when Henry the VIII himself sailed from. Poole Harbour, Weymouth and beautiful Lulworth Cove are all places that can be explored during a weeklong voyage. Sailing these waters, exploring new places and enjoying beach games and a BBQ will be combined with working together as a team and making lifelong friendships with your fellow crewmates.
You'll join the boat on Friday evening, find a bunk for the weekend and after a safety briefing you are ready to go sailing. All the duties on board are shared from the sailing to the cooking to the cleaning. Much more fun when you have your crewmates alongside you to help and make tasks easier.
Weather brings Adventure
We strive to create the most exciting and enriching itineraries and embrace the unpredictability of nature as part of our adventures.
Our voyages offer a unique opportunity to connect with the elements and experience the thrill of sailing offshore. While weather conditions can occasionally alter our planned routes, these moments of adaptability only add to the journey and lead to the most remarkable discoveries.
Come aboard with an open mind and an adventurous spirit, and let's set sail together on an extraordinary journey filled with exciting possibilities.
