Every season the Rona Sailing Project enters all 3 large boats into the ASTO Small Ships race, one of the UK's most exciting sail training events.
Bringing together sail training yachts from across the UK, the race offers crew members of all experience levels the opportunity to develop sailing skills, build confidence, and experience the challenge of offshore racing in a safe and supportive environment.
You'll become part of the crew, taking part in sail handling, and teamwork throughout the voyage. Alongside the competitive element of the race, participants enjoy meeting crews from other vessels, and experiencing the unique camaraderie that sail training creates.
Our sail training yachts provide professional instruction and a welcoming atmosphere where personal development is just as important as performance on the water. This event is very popular with our Scott Award holders from this season and we are normally oversubscribed. You can now bid for an opportunity to secure a berth now.
We will confirm all allocated berths in September once the summer voyages have been completed to ensure all Scott Award holders have the opportunity.
